We have recently completed a package for Colgate Palmolive on merchandising of goods. This program was created for India, but was so highly appreciated by the parent organization that it has been made a reference standard for all subsidiaries in the Asia-Pacific region and many other countries worldwide.
Various classes of accounts like supermarkets, grocery and kirana stores, chemists outlets, paan-bidi shops, convenience stores and wholesale accounts are separately covered, as are rural markets. Shelf arrangement, POP display, show window display, stock rotation, trade relations, administrative work and training of junior staff are all explained in detail.
Though the basic training package is in English, language, translations have been made for Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Kannada, Malyalam and Telegu. The package, which was created entirely by us, consists of the following:

This package is an involved complete e-learning/distance-learning solution on the corporate intranet of GE Countrywide Consumer Financial Services Limited, India. It is used during the formal training of new employees in the Risk Assessment functions of this personal finance company. It also serves as a reference document for day-to-day operations of Risk Assessors.

The presentation and flow of the material is easy to understand, with consistent schemes for formatting of text, colours, presentation style etc. A document map ensures that the user can navigate within the document easily. Tool Tips (Help Bubbles) are provided to substantially eases the operation for the user.
Testing of the trainee employees is done at two levels. After studying each of the chapters in the course material, the trainee takes a Basic Test consisting of 15 objective-type questions drawn at random from a bank of 50 questions. A Reference button allows reference to the relevant chapter in the study material while taking the quiz. Immediate feedback on the user's response is provided through on-screen text.
The trainee has to obtain a minimum score before being allowed to proceed to the next chapter. After completing the entire study material and the Basic Tests for all the chapters, the Trainee has to take a High Level Test. This consists of case studies.
Long term tracking of each Trainee's progress is done through detailed graphical and statistical charts. Different users are tracked separately through their log-in IDs.
An administrator module enables the evaluator to check the statistics for each of the users registered, as well as obtain branch-wise summaries.

A Point of Sale system for Customer Service Desks and Telemarketing (named TRISED) was created for Citibank N.A., India. It is a complete on-line training and information system, installed on the LAN at all Direct Sales Agents of Citibank.
All domestic products of the bank are covered in detail. A section on Compliances deals with both Indian and US regulations governing the bank's operations in India.
The user can access any topic interactively in many ways. Basic financial calculators are built in. The package is used for training of new staff, as well as an online reference for telemarketing.

This Computer-Based Training Package on welding, brazing and soldering has been developed for the Training Institute of EWAC Alloys Ltd., a joint venture between Eutectic+Castolin, Switzerland and Larsen & Toubro.
The package consists of over 250 pages of text covering welding processes and consumables, defects, troubleshooting, quality control, etc. It includes video, 3D animation, voice-over, graphics, pictures, hyperlinking, tri-state buttons, tool tips, an extensive glossary and an index of subjects. Each topic has a quiz.
The entire package is designed with emphasis on a near-zero learning curve.

This package was created for Knoll Pharmaceuticals Ltd. to train the medical representative in detailing the company's products to doctors.
The recommended detailing for doctors of different specialities is given separately. Objection handling is also covered. Each product is also individually covered in a separate module. Voice-over is used throughout the presentation to make it a stand-alone self learning tool.
For a new product launched by Hoechst Marion Roussel, a novel method of detailing training for Medical Represenratives was desired. This multimedia package is a 3-minute detailing exercise, modeled on the detailing brochure which would be used by the reps. Animation and graphics are used to make it both easy to understand and interesting.
The voice-over acts as a guide to what the rep should say to the doctor contacted. The voice-over can be turned off for practice and evaluation sessions.

This commercially launched product teaches the finer aspects of a playing technique invented and popularized by maestro Abdul Halim Jaffer Khan. An extensive use of video and voice-over gives practical demonstrations, while text is included for detailed explanations and to cover theoretical aspects.

This training module was prepared for Larsen & Toubro's Medical Department, for a whole body CT scanner.
The presentation shows how the scanner operates and why it is unique. Voice-over is not provided, since it is used in live training sessions.

This Website with four financial utilities has been created for Citibank N.A. The entire program is in JavaScript/HTML, enabling the user to download the page and use the utilities off-line as well.
The Tax Planning utility calculates the tax shelters under various sections of the Income Tax Act and also works out the total tax liability.
The utility for Tracking Financial Goals helps to save for four time-bound financial goals and accounts for inflation. The Retirement Planning utility helps to save for retirement. The Annual Home Budgeting utility helps in planning personal finances.

It is a detailed program that explains the corporate structure, the functions of the different departments and factories and the various corporate programs. The package has been appreciated within the company as a very useful tool for new entrants to the company and for cross-functional training.

A Point of Sale system for Customer Service Desks and Telemarketing (named TRISED) was created for Citibank N.A., India. It is a complete on-line training and information system, installed on the LAN at all Direct Sales Agents of Citibank.

TRISED consists of two modules. An Administrator Module allows data editing, and is used by the controlling division at Citibank. The Sales Agent Module does not allow any data modification, and is installed in the field offices of the Sales Agents.
Computer Based Presentations
This brochure was created for Citibank as part of the welcome-pack given to new sign-ons for their Suvidha Account. It explains in detail all the features and facilities of this account. 3D animation and voice-over is used throughout the brochure, making it both interesting and easy to understand.

Larsen and Toubro (L&T) manufacture an Air Circuit Breaker which has many unique features. To bring this product alive for potential customers, L&T asked us to make a multimedia technical catalog.
The catalog consists of 2D/3D animation, technical drawings, video clips and text, all integrated into a program with a near-zero learning curve. Some features are:Voice over was used in some sections and in the video and animation sequences.
This catalog CD was pressed into multiple copies, and distributed at the Hanover Industrial Fair, 1998. It was very well received in the overseas as well as in the domestic market. It has been updated in 1999 and 2000.
Inspite of being a software company with a large internet division, Akshay Software Technologies Pvt. Ltd. decided to use our presentation skills. The brochure has also been used as an exhibition kiosk in various trade fairs, including the annual Information Technology event at Hanover.
The full presentation consisted of an eight-minute free running module, followed by a 30 minute interactive module. Voice over is provided throughout the presentation.
This Corporate Presentation was prepared for Larsen & Toubro's Eutectic Division. The full presentation has a delivery time of approximately 25 minutes, and consists of 3D animation, accompanied by music. Voice-over is not provided, since this is a live presentation.
Godrej-GE Appliances had their annual sales conference for their top 100 dealers in the USA aboard a cruise ship, and for their 300 second tier dealers at Sun City, South Africa. For these major shows, the Vice-President's sales presentation was created using multimedia, and includes 3D animation, video and graphics.

The Piggy Bank was created for Citibank N.A. Targeted at children in the age group of 3 to 10 years, it is designed to introduce children to banking concepts. Every screen has several click-and-animate hotspots, which provide fun-toons and sounds guaranteed to keep children fascinated while they learn.

This set of four financial utilities has been created for Citibank N.A., and is modeled after the Financial Website described above. It contains the same four utilities, viz. Annual Home Budgeting, Tax Planning, Tracking Financial Goals and Retirement Planning.

This calculator works in three steps. In Step 1, it builds a family's cash flows well into the future. It takes into account inflation, asset growth rates for different types of assets, monthly income, savings and expenses, increase in living standards, current and future needs and goals, and retirement benefits.
In Step 2, the calculator analyses the family's needs and goals and suggests the additional savings or investments required to meet these goals.
In Step 3, the calculator analyses the amount of insurance required to meet the family's long term needs and goals, in case of death of one of the principal earners in the family.
The calculator allows saving of an individual's data, with password-protected access to this personal information.
A sophisticated on-line help, in the form of pop-up context-sensitive boxes, gives the details of the information required in the various input fields.
The output comes in the form of tabulated data, as well as graphical plots over time. This output can be printed.
